The seals were cracked, falling out and letting water in so the old stuff was first removed and cleaned off prior to re-sealing with builders silicone to ensure the building was watertight.nnNext the floor was stud framed with pressure treated timber and the voids filled with PIR insulation and then taped prior to boarding with 18mm OSB. The roof had already been insulated but we decided to drop the height and install a false ceiling which was boarded and LED lighting installed. The walls were then stud framed with pressure treated timber and insulated throughout with PIR, taped and boarded with 11mm OSB.nnThe metal door was insulted with PIR and boarded with ply. New electrics installed with multiple twin metal clad sockets at bench height and switched LED ceiling lights.nnThe window was boarded too and a handy window ledge installed. An L shaped work bench was installed with integrated shelf to provide plenty of work bench and storage space.
