FAQs

Q) How much is a site survey?

A) We do not charge to carry out a site survey for you, call us on our freephone number and we will arrange to come and visit you at a convenient time to carry out a free site survey.

Q) Do you take the old tank away?

A) Yes! We are fully licensed to carry and dispose of hazardous waste. Sometimes we need to cut up the tank on site depending on access but whatever is needed we will remove your old tank for you.

Q) What is a bunded tank?

A) In short. A bunded tank is a tank within a tank. This is perfect for tanks which are close to a water course or which are in direct sunlight. The inner tank is encased in another plastic exterior tank which is 1 and half times larger than the inner tank. So if the tank inside splits the oil will only go into the outer tank, meaning its safer for the environment and yourself.

Q) My tank is showing signs of cracking what shall i do?

A) Let us come and take a look for you, sometimes these are just superficial cracks and nothing to worry about, however if these are more serious then your tank will need to be replaced as quickly as possible to reduce the possibility of oil leaking onto the ground.

Q) What guarantee does my tank come with?

A) We recommend that ALL installs are carried out using a bunded tank which comes with a 10 year guarantee however if you wanted a single skin tank this comes with a 2 year guarantee.
