Large Beech Tree Felling and Removal - Foremans Tree Specialists Ltd were contracted by one of our regular clients to remove this large beech tree in Enton, Godalming, Surrey. The tree was infected by a fungus called Meripilus Giganteus (Meripilus) which had caused it to decline and as a result, it posed a real danger to the nearby house. The tree was protected by a TPO but the failure of this large tree could have caused substantial damage to the neighbouring property so permission for removal was quickly granted by the local authority. The Foremans Tree Specialists Ltd team dismantled the tree using sectional felling and rigging techniques to carefully lower sections to the ground. All brash was chipped up and removed from the site for biomass while the stem was transported away for milling.
