Can I do work on my roof myself?

We would not recommend doing roofing work by yourself, professional contracts should be called to carry out most works to ensure that you do not further damage your roof and tiles from low-quality work and to avoid you causing injury to yourself.

How can I remove moss of lichen from my roof?

If you live in a rural area surrounded by trees then this will be a common sight for you! Many methods of removal include scraping, using copper wire and spraying with toxic wash. Do not use a jet washer as this can damage your tiles!

How long does it take to replace guttering?

For a simple semi-detached house with no access issues and straight gutter runs to the front and back, B & J Roofing Ltd could replace all the gutters in half a day. However, the shape of the house and the required access equipment will affect the time it takes to perform a gutter replacement. Therefore, the time it takes to replace gutters varies from property to property.
