FAQs

How soon after plastering can I decorate my walls?

From around 7 to 10 days, the plaster we apply should have dried. It will become a lighter powdery colour as the water in the plaster sets. After this time, it will be safe to paint or wallpaper the walls.

How messy is plastering?

I would rather customers were fully informed and as such I have to tell you that plastering has the potential to be the messiest trade you can have in your home. Having said that we do our utmost to keep all areas tidy. All areas are sheeted out as necessary and once work is completed we hoover behind ourselves to give you the cleanest room we can. We work hard to leave everything just as we found it.

Why is the plaster in my home flaking off or cracking?

More often than not, the bond on old plaster can become less adhesive than it was when it was applied. If there is moisture present in the walls, plaster will eventually come loose.
