Why Spray Foam Insulation?

Spray Foam Insulation is one of the most complete insulation and air sealing systems. It can be used for both new and old constructions, delivering industry leading energy efficiency across commercial, industrial and residential projects, it has become a preferred alternative to traditional insulation products.

How is Spray Foam Insulation different from traditional insulation?

The main difference between spray foam insulation and more traditional forms of insulation is that spray foam insulation is an air barrier and thermal barrier all in one. This means that Spray Foam insulation does the job of providing insulation and air sealing in one application.

How is Spray Foam Insulation both airtight and breathable?

We often get asked about the difference between airtightness and breathability, Open Cell Spray Foam insulation is both airtight and breathable and this graphic goes a long way to explaining this concept.

Can I still have Spray Foam Insulation installed without having no roof membrane?

Some older properties will not have a felt membrane under the roof tiles, before we can apply our spray foam insulation we would firstly install a membrane between the rafters then apply the foam directly to this.
