🧑‍⚕️ We would just like to say what an amazing job all the doctors, nurses, paramedics, cleaners etc are doing at Salisbury District Hospital 🙏🙏🙏nnOne of our team was at A&E last night with his wife for 7 hours until 1am. At 1 point during the evening a super hero doctor had to announce that there wasn't even 1 available bed in the whole hospital and that ambulances were backed up with patients.nnThis was done as a plea for patience and unfortunately everyone had to be reminded to please be polite to the nurses as they couldn't go any faster than what they were already going.nnOn several occasions the emergency alarms went off which saw multiple nurses & doctors drop everything they were doing and literally run to the alarm. The doctors & nurses were running around for the whole 7 hours trying to work as fast as possible whilst also being unbelievably polite and apologetic to each patient. nn🦸‍♂️ Unfortunately there was a small minority of patients who couldn't be polite but that didn't deter these super heroes 🦸‍♀️nnAlso a massive shout out to everyone who raises money via the Stars Appeal - Salisbury District Hospital's Charity as their work makes so much difference. Just having WiFi makes the whole experience so much more bearable for patients which hopefully in turn makes the super heroes life's just a little easier if that's even possible.nnRemember that when you go home, they still remain and soldier on! Hour after hour, day after day, week after week! nnWe are looking forward to starting our fundraising for the Stars Appeal when Robbie once again undertakes a trek, this time the 2021 postponed trek to Petra which will now take place in 2022.
